Description of the Products:
Urban Decay Naked Illuminated:According to the Urban Decay website, this is a shimmering (pressed) powder for face and body. It comes in the colours Aura, Luminous and Lit, which is the one I purchased and the one show in the picture below. It includes a thicker than usual mini fan shaped brush under the powder. It is advertised as 'Vegan', which I'm pretty sure means it contains no animal parts and did not use animal testing during it's manufacturing process.
It costs about 36 Canadian dollars at Sephora, which is not bad at all considering I've been using it continuously for about three weeks now and I seem to have hardly made a dent.
Colour Pop Ultra Glossy in Honey B 💋:
The colour pop website describes this product as a full coverage vivid magenta gloss.
It is one of the currently 29 different ultra glossy lippies on their site where I purchased it, and costs 6 US dollars.

Urban Decay Naked Illuminated:
Though not as pigmented as some other shimmery highlighters, this powder is one of my staple every day go to products. I can't get enough of it 💞! (Literally, I have to put on quite an amount to get my desired pigmentation)
In my opinion, this powder is considerably light and very fine grained, and it needs larger amounts of application on darker skin than caucasian skin, which I noticed when the Sephora assistant applied it once on her wrist and it was immediately shiny, as opposed to when I applied it, and had to reapply about three times to get the pigmentation I wanted.
In contrast to probably a good amount of people however, it's lightness and relatively low pigmentation after one application is the reason I love this product. It means I can build up pigmentation to exactly the shade I want, which is usually crucial for me with shimmery products like this one.
It lasts for about 6 hours before it starts to fade, but I think that is partially because I have oily skin so my make up gets more and more dewy throughout the day, which would inevitably lessen the effect of a powder.
It's more of a day to day product for me when I want a subtle but at the same time shimmery glow, so I would not recommend this if you're going for a full out glam look. For something with a huge pop, I would recommend Gold Deposit by MAC. At the time of writing this post I haven't tried this product yet, but I've heard from many that it gives and amazing extra bold glow.
If however, you just need a slightly subtle but still shimmery princessy type glow, then the Naked Illuminated Powder is probably for you.
ColourPop Ultra Glossy in Honey B 💋:
This lipgloss is currently my FAVE out of all the ones I own so far. It's one of the prettiest shades of pink I've ever used, it's truly as ultra glossy as colour pop says, and most importantly, it doesn't leave my lips feeling like sand paper which I get with almost any lip product I use because of my naturally dry lips. It lasts for AGES, and I usually don't need to top it up unless I've been eating.
Because of how bold it is, I don't usually use this product daily unless i am going out.
It is understandably one of Colour Pop's most popular glosses, and is currently sold out on their website, but hopefully it will be back in stock soon. Because of how much I like it, I will probably be buying some more of their ultra glossy lips soon. Once I do, I will review them and maybe do a comparison, so watch this space ( ) 😏.
How I Use Them:
To apply the Naked Illuminated Face Powder, I usually dust it on with the brush that came with it on my cheekbones just above where I would contour, my chin, underneath my eyebrows, and the bridge of my nose.
For the Honey B gloss, I first use a lip brush to apply it once on the outline of my lips (sort of like a lipliner) and the inside, then carefully go over it with the wand from the lip gloss itself to increase pigmentation.
Why are they PPPs?
I hope you enjoyed this review! 😊
Thanks again everyone!
