Volume Million Lashes So Couture by L'oreal (Review)
Description:
This mascara is by L'oreal Paris, and is part of L'oreal's line of Volume Million Lashes mascara.
Review:
I absolutely LOVE this mascara. It's amazing! Everything about it is perfect. First of all, it does exactly what it says on the box, which is really important to me. It adds SO much volume to my lashes, and a bit of length too. As someone who lashes are super short, this product is extremely useful. However, from trying it on different people when applying make up for them, I saw that it still works wonders on people with longer lashes too. To top it off, it has this amazing smell which reminds me of chocolate, and I can smell it each time I apply the product to my lashes. With all my other good mascaras, I use them with something else in order to get the most out of them, but that is completely unnecessary with this one.
Worth the money?
This product is 10.99 at Boots in the UK, and for the quality of the product I would say it is definitely worth it. It has also lasted for quite a while for me, which is also an important factor.
How I use it:
To apply my mascara, because my lashes are so short, I apply it from underneath, as there is not enough room on the top. I sort of clamp the wand as close to my 'upper water line' as possible, and then drag it out a bit. I also use the tip of the wand to try to get to the even smaller lashes in the inner corner of my eye. When I have done about two coats of that, I go over my lashes again once more with sharp strokes to pull them up a bit. Below is a before and after picture of my lashes with this mascara. Unfortunately, the quality is quite poor because I used the front camera of my iPhone, but I think it is still shows a bit of the difference.
